The only way to get to Baler from Manila using public land transportation is by BUS. There are two options which we suggest for you to take. 

1st option: Executive Luxury Bus (recommended)
Transprtation Company: Joy Bus
Terminal: Genesis Bus Terminal, Cubao
One-way fare: PhP 800-850
Bus Schedule: call them for the most updated schedule
Travel time: 4- 5.5 hours
Final Stop: Baler Bus Terminal
No Stopovers
Extras: Sleeper Bus, Wifi, Snacks, blanket and pillow, stewardess onboard
- Make an early reservation to secure a seat. Call (+632) 709-08-03 /(+632) 421-14-25. Early reservations are normally secured once a bank deposit to their account has been made.

We advise that experienced drivers take charge of the driving. Taking this route, it would take you3-4.5 hours to get to Baler. Drive Safely!

Note: Some websites or smart phone/ tablet map apps might mention another route to Baler which is the Baler Bongabon road (Bongabon, Maria Aurora, Aurora). DO NOT TAKE THIS ROUTE. It is an old passage with majority of the roads currently undergoing completion. TREACHEROUS, WINDING AND STEEP ROAD.  The Pantabangan route is the only option we suggest for you to take as it has paved concrete roads and is the most common passage for all travelers.
